Start with the business question
Analytics becomes useful when teams agree which customer and operational decisions the data should support. A large dashboard cannot compensate for unclear goals or inconsistent event definitions.
Use AI for investigation
AI tools can help classify behaviour, surface anomalies, explain patterns and prepare questions for deeper analysis. Their output should be treated as a lead for investigation, not an unquestioned conclusion.
Keep data dependable
Consent, naming conventions, identity rules, source quality and validation determine whether automated analysis can be trusted. Record changes to tracking so teams understand breaks and shifts in trends.
Design for privacy
Collect only what the decision requires, control access and retention, and assess how analytics and AI providers process information. Privacy decisions belong in the measurement design, not only in a policy page.
